Whiplash (Parody)
A parody of a scene from Whiplash (2014) Dir. Damien Chazelle. Instead of Jazz Drumming a young barman is coached through creating the perfect cocktail. In order to replicate the feel of the original as closely as possible cuts were made while having the original scene side by side for reference. 

A Thread of Life (Bill Vinten GTC University Award Winner)
Short Film, taking place in a post-apocalyptic world, specific frames were removed throughout to heighten the pace/tension and match the score. Described by one of the judges as "the best work he’d seen in our student awards over the last five years. Other judges liked the explosive, ‘rush through’ pace and the convincing action." Read Here

NEBULA
A short film in which a young woman has come to pick up her sister from an arcade, but not all is what it seems. This film utilises more experimental effects to illustrate a more surreal experience, building towards an emotional crescendo at the end.
